Hi, my name is Sean McAlister, I started racing in 2016 driving with Competition Motorsports in the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport in the Pirelli Trophy West series and got 2nd place 2 years in a row (2016 & 2017). I drove with Competition Motorsports for 3 years (2016-2018). At the end of 2017 I did the 8 Hours of Laguna Seca (California 8 Hours) and we got 1st in class (GT4, Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR). In 2018 I moved up to a Porsche GT3 Cup 991.1 in the Pirelli Trophy West series and won the championship in my class. In 2019 I made my IMSA debut in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge USA with JDX Racing driving the 991.2 GT3 Cup and got 6th in class. I ran with JDX Racing for 3 years (2019-2021). In 2020 I got 3rd place in the championship in the same car as the year before. Two years prior, I ran in Porsche Carrera Cup North America in the brand new 992 GT3 Cup car. It was a really solid year until the last few races where I got hit multiple times which hurt my final position of (11th). For 2022, I joined the Michelin Pilot Challenge with Team Hard Point in a Porsche Cayman GT4. It was an up and down year but I learned a lot as a driver. In 2023 I returned to the Michelin Pilot Challenge driving for Pelegrine Racing Team in another Cayman GT4. We had a solid season and showed great pace, but are looking to build on our momentum into the 2024 season with a new car. We’re excited to now be competing in a BMW M4 GT4.
